Probel SW-P-08/02 Configurable Models

Probel SW-P-08 and SW-P-02 are versatile routing protocols used by many router and video switcher manufacturers for 3rd party control of their devices. Since the protocol is used by so many manufacturers, we have made configurable models for each protocol to allow for size customization. 

 

As the configurable models are not able to be auto detected, it is necessary to add the devices manually. Select the configurable model for SW-P-02 or SW-P-08 depending on which of the protocols the device supports.

 

For both models, it is needed to specify the IP Address and protocol specific port used by the device. For SW-P-08, it is also necessary to specify the Matrix ID. If needing control of multiple Matrixes of SW-P-08, additional instances of the device should be added per MatrixID. 

 

For both models, it is needed to specify the number of destinations and sources. For SW-P-08, it is also necessary to specify the number of levels.

After configuring the SW-P-08 model and adding it to the panel's device selector deviceor selector,selecting the dedicated configuration, it is possible to specify which method is used to read the output labels programmed in the device. 

Please note, not all devices are able to provide labels over the network. 

If using the Routing Control or Utility Control configuration, in the device selector click on Settings

If using the dedicated SW-P-08 configuration, under the configuration click on Settings

From there it is possible select between using the UMD Label or the Output Label.
